1. Riverview Park and Zoo Special Summer Concert Series

WHEN: Bi-weekly on Sundays beginning May 26th. 2:00-4:00 pm
Kick off your summer Sundays at Riverview Park and Zoo with their Summer Concert Series. Every other Sunday, from May 26th onwards, the gazebo comes alive with the sounds of local artists and musicians from 2-4pm. Check out the schedule here.
While you’re there, don’t forget to explore the zoo’s exhibits and take a scenic train ride through the park. It’s the perfect way to spend a sunny afternoon with family and friends. The summer operating season kicks off May 18th, and the train will operate daily from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, weather permitting.
2. Dragon Boat Festival

WHEN: June 8th, All day event
Paddle your way to Del Crary Park on June 8th for a fun day at the Dragon Boat Festival. Not only is it a thrilling event to watch with 57 teams participating, but it also serves an important cause as a fundraiser for the PRHC Cancer Foundation, promoting Breast Cancer Awareness. 3. Pet Fest at the Peterborough Animal Care Centre
